About: The approach for a responsive website for Michaels begins with the mobile site where new projects for mobile are created using a new look and feel, and created on the standard web platform. Media queries are used to format content and features for the smaller mobile screen, while routing non-mobile users to the current standard website. In this example, users are presented with a signup form for receiving notifications via email or SMS. Users arrive at the form via the current mobile website, email (when viewed on their mobile device) or by scanning a QR code on inshore signage.
